Blazer started to run rough, missing. We changed all plugs and wires, new cap and rotor. EGR valve and fuel filter. Still ran like crap, assumed it was the catalytic converter stopped up the way it acted. Had new one of these put on, still will not rev up. When you take out the o2 sensor, it will run, but when you put it back in, it will not rev up. We replaced the 02 sensor, and still no luck. With the 02 sensor in, it will only go 5mph. Take it out, and it will go, just not good. It still acts like it is stopped up. What else could we check or change?

Check and test the following below:

Oxygen Sensor
Catalytic Converter
Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
Coil and Rotor
