I have a slight leak in my oil lines that come from the engine to the oil filter. I tried to replace them but cannot get to the bolt on the engine near the oil pan. It was suggested that I loosen the motor mounts and raise the engine a few inches. I cannot find how to loosen them. If you have an easier way to replace the lines please be my guest to inform me how.

I recently replaced the lines on my Blazer also. The only way to replace the one line is to remove the motor mount and raise the engine about 2 inches in order to get at the bolts. I tried everything before I did this and a Dealer technician told me to do this. Its a pain but it worked. Good luck.
