Engine problem
1999 Chevy Blazer V6 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 125000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, I'm having problems with my cars fuel economy, after I changed the fuel pump, could a 4 to 5 below regular fuel pressure be causing poor mileage? I've heard some people say it might be the fuel regulator, but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great life/ day

If your fuel pressure regulator is leaking,It will cause poor fuel economy. You need to check your fuel psi and make sure it is within specs. Also, make sure the pressure will hold for at least 10 min with the key on and engine off.If it doesn't,you have a leak somewhere.
