When I turn right, either slow or down the road. There is a loud grinding noise that seems to be coming from the drivers front end. I've pulled the front wheel off, but can't seem to find anything. The CV boot was replaced a few months back because it was ripped. I'm thinking it might be a bad CV joint, short of pulling it apart what can I do to check it? Or could this be the wrong thing I'm going for?

YOU MAY BE ON THE RIGHT TRACK, THE CV JOINT COULD'VE ALREADY BEEN CONTAMINATED WHEN THE NEW BOOT WAS REPLACED, BUT IT CAN ALSO BE A HUB BEARING PROBLEM. WHICH i'M LEANING MORE TOWARDS. BECAUSE CV'S WOULD MAKE A CLICKING NOISE WHEN TURNING. TO CHECK YOU WILL HAVE TO PULL THE BOOT BACK OFF AND LOOK FOR GOUGES AND DIVITS IN THE JOINT
