Brakes problem
1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 119000 miles

MY REAR BRAKES LOCK UP SOMETIMES WHEN I COME TO A STOP ALSO I SOMETIMES HAVE A CLUNK WHEN I STOP OR WHEN I TAKE OFF FROM A DEAD STOP. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR.

At this age and mileage, you should replace shoes, all hardware, and wheel cylders should be closely inspected for leaks, I use a thin pick tool to look into the dust boot at the piston ends for signs of fluid! Then have the drums machined or replaced. Last a proper adjustment, and bleeding if cyls replaced. And last, make sure ALL parking brake cables work!
