What is the level of the brake fluid? Is it the RED brake warning light or the orange anti lock brake warning light?

I am having the same problem with my 1997 Chevy Blazer. The brake fluid is fine, and the light that comes on is the RED parking brake light.

I have a '97 Blazer and in January I had the same problem. Took it to a mechanic and he said the brake lines were rusted through giving it no pressure. This could be your problem.
