Hi,
My battery keeps dying and we have jumped it several times. I was wondering, I just had the transmission rebuilt. Does a cracked altenator belt have any thing to do with the transmission just getting rebuilt? I have no idea.

I don't think a cracked alternator belt would hurt anything, as long as the charging system was working properly. Yes, you need to replace the belt. Any time there is a battery issue, you need to check the charging system. An excessive drain could cause the battery to go down.
