Transmission problem
1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

As I'm going down the road in drive as I accerlerate the engine just revs up, but its in drive, does this mean the transmission is going bad ?

Good chance check fluid level and color if black and bad smell then clutch slipaged has occured

Yes its black and has burnt smell to it .....
