where is the speed sensor located on a 1996 chevy blazer and how do i replace it.

the vss. ive seen a couple parts it might be but neither one look like the one i bought to replace it.

whats the eight letter of your vin?
if its a w or x it is on the left rear of hte transmission or transfer case.
if its other, its in the same spot, if you still cant find it post back the eight letter and i can try to find you a diagram.

the eigth letter is a w. if you can find a diagram it would help me a lot. like i said nothing ive seen looks like the one i bought.

thats about what i thought. my problem is i found two in that general area. one o the tranny and one on the transfer case. and like i said neither one looks like the one i bought. ill give it another look and let ya know if i get it figured out. thanks for you help.
