I was at the gas station one day and while filling up the whole tank, it started leaking from under my car. I was told it was just an overflow and thats stock for this vehicle. However, I have been experiencing low gas mileage, and after I drive for 45 mins to work, and get out of my car, I smell gas. Also I have "water type" liquid coming from my exhaust pipe. All parts are stock except for an intake and air filter. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

First, fuel tanks don't have an overflow. If you are leaking gas, my guess is the steel fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine are rusted and leaking. That would also explain the poor fuel mileage. Chech the fuel lines. If everything is good, you may need to remove the fuel tank to check for a rusted sending unit or tank.

Let me know what you find. Also, keep in mind that any fuel leak is dangerous.
