After hard braking the brake pedal does not return to the top. After a few seconds it returns. I replaced the master cylinder and still not fixed. The power booster was replaced about 3 months ago and all the brakes (front and rear) have been replaced within in the past 6 months, i.E. Pads rotors, shoes, drums and wheel cylinders. Most parts are from Napa, but the booster is from Autozone.
Any help would be greatly appreiciated

Have you looked at the stop light switch at the pedal? May be sticking, and need replacing.

It turned out to be a bad check valve on the new power booster.
I purchased the part at Autozone because of availability and they stood up to their warranty with a no hassle exchange.
Thanks for yout help
