1995 Chevy Blazer timing

1995 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I screwed up, put timing light on truck played with degress advanced button on timing kight turned truck off. Went out today to start it will not start turn key off seems to diesiel if I bring # 1 piston up can I pull dist. And reset not sure if its off just guessing again

Put the engine no.1 piston on its compression stroke/TDC line it up on the damper-now open the dist. Cap the rotor should be pointing to the no.1 cap tower if not-remove the distributor and reinstall it making sure the rotor is pointing to the no.1 cap tower

My rotor points to the number one wire(were it plugs in) if I am not mistaken number one tower is on the opposite side can you please confoirm this trucks tore down p.S should it be removed and pointed to tower also theres two marks on balencer looks like second one is tdc

Find the EST single wire Tan and Black -disconnect it and shoot it again to its ignition timing specs 0deg at Idle make sure the CEL is off while doing this and see what happens.
