I have 1995 S10 blazer the interior lights and dash lights are not working. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. I by passed the fuse with a jumper wire and all the dash lights came on. I am wondering if it is in the headlight switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if you think it is the headlight switch what's the procedure to change it I haven't done it in a long time.

How did you jumper the fuse? in the box or by running a wire from the battery? If you did it in the box it is probably a bad fuse that looks good or the fuse contacts are bad. If from the battery it could be the dimmer switch.

I ran it from another powers source in the box both sides of the interior lights was dead so i hooked into the out going side of the fuse with my jumper and the lights worked. How do i get the dimmer switch out? there is no room to get at it to remove it

You have to remove the dash trim cover and the switch has a couple screws through the plastic to hold it in place. Depending on which dash yours has there are a couple hidden screws holding the plastic on as well as the clips.

If you jumpered it and the dimmer part worked on the dash lights it is likely the headlight switch not passing current. If the dimmer didn't change the dash lights then it may be the problem.
