Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
I have the chevy s10 blazer with the 4.3 cpi vin code w motor and it has been giving me problems. it started out with chunks of carbon in the egr valve so i cleaned that out and it ran really good for about 30 min then i stepped on the gas to raise the rpms and see what it would do and it died as soon as i let off the gas pedal. Now tonight i just replaced the egr valve and nothing it will crank all day long but wont fire at all. i can hear the fuel pump prime the system when i turn on the key and i have put a new map sensor in it as well as a new iac solenoid i am at a loss here is there anyone out there that can help me i am not the most experienced in working on this vehicle but i know my way around a toolbox and can do the repair if it is not to major with no problems.
