1993 Chevy Blazer jumper wire test

Put 1 end of jumper wire in slot B (diagnostic terminal) other end in slot A (ground) service emgine light went out then came on and did 1 flas, pause, 2 flashes, did over 3 in a row no other code. Is code 12 1 flas, pause, 2 flashes no distributor reference pulses to ecm only appeaers when key is turned on and not runniong. If any other code it will flash 3 times then a new code. The first code that will flash will be a code 12. It will be "flash, pause, flash, flash, pause, pause, " and repeat the cycle three times. The ECM will flash each code three times, and move on to the next. If you have no codes stored, it will keep flashing code 12. Code 12 simply tells you the ECM is not receiving any pulses from the distributor (since the car is not running).
