Electrical problem
1987 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200k miles

Replaced fuel pump 18 mo. Ago, all was fine. Will idle, but when I drive it, maybe 1/2 mile, the ECMB fuse goes, I'm assuming under load? Is there some way to check the problem without removing the tank again? When I do remove the tank, can the pump itself be checked? Who the h. Puts electric in the gas tank!

Sounds more like you have a short in the wiring if it only does it while in motion. Easy way to test the pump is to disconnect the wire from the relay and see how many amps the motor is drawing.
Oh and all the makes use an in tank pump.
