Ok I recently changed the thermostat and the water pump because they were bad. A few weeks after changing the water pump I got a water leak in one of the hoses going to the heater core. There is no water running inside the car, no funny smells inside the car so as far as I know the heater core is fine. When I run my hand around the hose it seems like its in good shape. Any ideas of why water would be leaking from that hose?

Hello !!

Check for corrosion around the hose connector disconnect both hoses clean the fittings and replace the hose clamps.

also Cut a little bit of the end of the hose (to install the hose clamps on different spot) be sure that you have enough lenght on the hose!

Good Luck!

Hello !!
well, you have to be sure where its leaking from..

most of the case its the fitting where the hose connects, get corrode or the hose clamp"cuts" trough the hose and its hard to see it ..

get a flashlight and move the heat selector to cold (that way you buidl up pressure and you will see the leak...

Good Luck!
