I have this humming noise that just appeared, it is right under the hump in the back seat. It doesn't make the sound when the car is first cranked up but after about 5 to 10 minutes of driving the huming starts. Could you please give me a few ideas. I dont want to walk into a repair shop and be sold a transmission if all it needs it a greased rear axle.

Thank you

Thank you so the humming noise is a natural part of the running of the car? Or do I need to have this repaired?

I failed to mention that I had this rattling CD player in the trunk that I removed and that was when I noticed the humming.

The pumps will hum with age if fuel filter has not been changed in last 30K miles would recommend new one.
