I bought my car and it was runnin great. Then two weeks later all of a suddenit stopped running. Everytime I go to accelerate it either slows down or stauls out. Ive changed the fuel filter. It's been in the shop for the past three weeks and the car isnt letting the computer run a diognostic check on it they've been doin everything manually and can't find the problem. They tried to put an ignition module in it and it didn't seem to help. I need my vehicle to work.

Best thing to do here is check for fuel pressure first. Depending on what engine you have your pressure should be 35-38 or 41-44 p.S.I. All you need to get teh codes is a paperclip and go from A&B turn the key on and watch the service engine light. Count the flashes write them down and come to the site here look under OBD1and find out what the code says. There is like codes are 12- means computer is ok. But it goes up to 55 I think. If you have it at a shop and the person doesn't know how to get the code out i'd take it someplace else. Also check the ground for the ecm by the ecm, it may be bad.
