2.8W engine - mild weather. Cold start, short trip, park less than a hallf an hour - starts OK, but engine stalls after driving about 50 yards. Starts easily and after another short trip with the same scenario the engine stall may, or may not, occur. Stalling does not happen in other driving conditions. Problem started a couple of weeks after plugs, ignition wires, pcv valve and fuel filter were replaced. Full tank of gas between first and second incidents. Again, very intermittent problem.

When it stalls is it sputtering out like itis running out of gas, or does it just shut down like the key has been turned off?

Sounds like an ignition issue. Has the check engine light ever come on?

Service Engine Soon light comes on when engine stops and ignition key is still turned on. I understand this is normal. Would an ECM test help?
