My 2006 chevy aveo slides on wet roads. I purchased this car from a salvage lot. I test drove this car under normal conditions and it drove fine the only thing was that it shaked when I would hit the 65 mph mark but it had worn tire s so I tough changing the two front tires woul help the problem. The next day after purchasing the vehicle I took it to the tire shop and replaced the two front tires. Later that night when I got off of work I drove home and it began to rain I automaticalyy saw that when o would ht the 45 mph mark or more my car would suddenly slide to the right. In recent days the car has been driving to the left onits own. And hitting 65 or more on normal conditions makes the car skate as well and shake. Also when suden bumps or small potholes are drove through driving at normal speeds I hear thissound as if the tire is hitting something it comes form the right tire.

I think you have a problem with your struts, and or sway bar, a simple safety inspection should figure out exactly whats wrong, also what I find sometimes, is when cars are in accidents, it will slightly bend the frame and that will lift the tire to road pressure, and cause this sliding thing. So please have the suspension safety inspected
