2005 Chevy Avalanche high oil pressure gauge
Engine Mechanical problem
2005 Chevy Avalanche V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 108500 miles
108500. my oil pressure gauge is reading very high. my car is not running hot. I found some liquid underneath the car this morning and it is a honey color and not very thick. I checked the oil stuck and it shows oil although that color is more of a brown as compared to what i found on the ground. I put two quarts of oil into the car and the pressure gauge did go back down some but not to normal.
what could it be?

Why did you put 2 quarts of oil in--was it 2 quarts low? Fresh oil and differential lube is honey in color..Check for oil leaks and/or differential leaks.
