When I speed up or slow down, my speedometer needle seems to stick and jump. Sometimes when I turn my truck off, the need sticks at a certain speed. Also, my oil pressure gage sometimes stays at zero when I turn my truck on.

Hello,

It sounds like you could have a faulty vehicle speed sensor (VSS).
This issue can also happen due to a bad stepper motor which controls the speedometer.

The VSS is located on the side of the transmission right before the output shaft (see diagram).
Overtime due to heat and vibration the VSS can loose its internal calibration.
It can also have a loose or corroded electrical connector.
It cab be replace relatively easily.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
