i have a 2002 avalanch and cant seem to find the problem. when i start the truck i dont get any gauges, and it starts in third gear. i dont have any first or fourths gear. the problem has gotten worse, i used to be able to restart and the problem whent away. not now! i took it to the tranny shop but they couldnt get it ot not work. if i manually put the car into second it will start in second and i can shift to third. but starting out is dificult in third. it seems like sometimes if i turn the wheel it will catch and the gauges will come back but i still have a third gear start problem. and sometimes it runs perfect. any answers?
