2002 Chevy Avalanche V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
How do I find out what type of fuel pump it must be my car, it has the tank on the left side rear and the pump sits inside the tank.
Have studied a little but it's several types of pumps to choose from, you can help.

No, there isn't several to choose from. The application catalog will tell you what part number fits your car.

You just go to wherever your going to buy it, give them the year, make, model and engine size, possibly the fuel tank size also and they give you the part. That's how it works everywhere.
