Truck stopped was very low on fuel but I think had enough. Now with tank filled won't start without strting fluid and runs for 3 seconds and stops. You can keep it running rough if you keep squirting starting fluid. I replaced fuel filter opened fuel pressure valve near fuel rail and turn key on & off several times only a drop or 2 no pressure or flow. Also swappped horn relay with fuel pump relay to & wasn't that.
Can it be anything else besides fuel pump in tank?

before you go through the trouble of dropping the tank, check to see if you are getting power to the pump.

but it's probably the pump, then need to have gas running through them to keep them cool and lubricated. Running out of gas doesn't always kill them, but it increases your chances.
