My current idler arms have much play and are worn-out. How difficult is it to replace the idlers arms on this vehicle. I am handy and have taken care of the brakes on my vehicles over the years. Any specialty tools needed. Anything to be aware of beyond taking the old part out and putting in the new part? Any issues with using ramps for this work? How important is doing an allignment after the parts are replaced?

Thanks Joe -

I already completed the job and figured out that I needed the fork
splitter (had one from a previous job I did in the past). You are
right. It was easy.

It isn't hard to do. Just make sure everything is the same distance apart when done. As far as tools, you need a ball joint spliter (fork) to remove the idler arm.

Let me know if you have other questions.
