I changed the thermostat and i did get some heat for 2 day then it went back to cold air. I removed the return hoses from the heater core and i got a very small about of flow of water. A few minutes later i went out for a drive and started to get hot air inside the cabin. Would it be posible that the heater core does not work or could this be something else?

Yes, that is very possible. It may be clogged or just completely gone out. To test if it is working, feel the two hoses going to the heater core after engine is warm. Both hoses should be warm to touch. If one or both are cool, this indicates a clogged/faulty heater core.

Post results and I will follow up.
