2000 Chevy Astro Heater fan not spinning

My 00 Astro has a problem that the heater fan will stop working for a day or two and then magically start working again for a while. Other than that you can feel that there is hot air coming out of the vents but it is not blowing. When I switch it to AC I can hear the compressor(or at least that is what I think that I am hearing). Can you, please help?

Sounds like your blower motor is going bad. If you can, when it stops working lightly tap the motor with a screw driver end and see if it turns back on. If that doesnt work get a test light and see if you are getting voltage to the motor.
