USUALLY AFTER SITTING ALL NIGHT, IT IS HARD TO START AND WHEN IT DOES START, IT MISSES UNTIL WARMED UP. I ADD CARB AND INJECTOR CLEANER TO THE GAS TANK AND IT SEEMS TO HELP I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE WATER IN THE GAS OR A BUSTED HEAD GASKET, BUT IT RUNS FINE AFTER WARMUP. ANY IDEAS ? THANK YOU L.D.

When you first try to start it cold, can you hear the fuel pump prime? Also, once it is warmed up, do you have any trouble? Has the fuel filter been changed reciently? Have you ever checked fuel pump pressure?

I would try a fuel filter. They are cheap and it's good preventative maintenance.

You are going to think this sounds really stupid, but I found out the hard way. Behind the passenger side front wheel is a plastic fender well shroud. It is critical that this shroud is in place or your passenger side front tire will hose your ignition coil with water if you drive in rain, snow, or through a puddle. The shroud should be fastened down tight on the right and left side and the center section should be tucked straight up over the A frame. I replaced broken plastic keepers and drilled holes in the shroud to put tyraps through to secure it in place. This got rid of my hard to start in the morning and missing problems.
