Front end shutters when braking. Ride fine otherwise.

You might check for trouble codes, see if there might be any abs codes. Some of the national brand autostores might check codes for free?

At the least, I'd jack-up the wheels, turn and try to shake, see if I hear--see--feel anything. Check the brake pads and rotors.

In the past on different models, I've seen brake calipers try to seize. It would drive just fine till you stepped on the brake, then the steering wheel would shake so bad, you couldn't hardly hold it.

On ABS systems where applicable, you need to doublecheck repair procedures, before taking any lines loose. Don't take any hydraulic lines loose unless you know what your doing. I don't have that info in front of me.
