When the temp. is above 90 and we drive the van for 30 minutes or more, it will suddenly die as if I shut off the engine with the key. After cooling for 30 minutes or more it will start and run. When the temp. is in the 80's or lower it seems to be fine. Besides this problem, it runs perfectly.

I changed the fuel pump because it failed to put out enough pressure. I also changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, coil.

Remove the ignition module and have it tested at most autoparts store for free.

Also check for any exhaust leaks near ign. system and wiring to dist.

When it dies, spray some starting fluid in throttle body, if engine runs a few seconds, then the problem is fuel, if not it is ignition.
