I recently developed an oil leak toward the back of the engine. I've also noticed the oil filler tube is loose. Are the two tied together??

Hi:
Chances are either a valve cover gasket is leaking from the rear and running down the back of the engine or the rear main is leaking. You need to get under the van, and look up to see if the oil is coming from up above or only where the oil pan is near the trans.
