The outside latch on for rear door will not engage to open it. And since there is no means of opening it from the inside the door cannot be opened.
Can someone give me a method to open the doors so that I can fix it. Oh, barring the use a big sledge hammer.

Thank you
Larry

you need to remove trim panel from rear door .. never done this with door closed .. could be difficult ..so you will have to struggle on ?? as this is the only way to get the door open ..

1) remove swing out window latch (if equipped)

2) remove window garnish retaining screws

3) pry the molding from the door in the area of the retainers and remove the molding from the door

4) remove the door trim panel retaining screws

5) remove the trim panel

you should now be able to gain access to the door handle mechanism and open the door ..

if ya need more info .. please contact me
