Check engine light does not come on when you turn switch on

That's a pretty good indication that your computer is not powering up. The very first thing you want to check is all your fuses and fusible links using a test light testing both ends of the fuses. If the fuses are all good, then look for main relays. If nothing found you will have to use a wiring diagram a verify all power inputs right at the computer.
