Had to change out the water pump and when I put everything back together the fan isn't turning on.

Is the water pump driven by the timing belt?

You may have damaged the coolant temp sensor or the plug. Make sure that the coolant temp sensor is also plugged in all the way and that it clicks the lock tab on the plug. To make sure the fan works turn on your air conditioner. The fan should come on with the air-conditioner regardless of whether the coolant temp sensor is working or not. If the fan doesn't come on check to make sure it is plugged in properly
