Was wondering on the catalytic converters on that car if there got does it hurt the performance on the vehicle or not? Because it looks like the inside of the big one on that car is gutless. There are three on that car, one on either side of the down pipe and one where they both come together. The pipes are in great shape just the inside of that one is gone. I stuck a scope down the front of the down pipe and those are still there from what I can see, of course I cannot see the other side because I do not have a scope that long. So I was wondering if it is fine to run it like it is? It is only got one O2 sensor which is before all the converters so no code was thrown and I took the exhaust off in the first place because a piece of the inside of the converter came out the tail pipe.

Earlier converters used to harm performance but that all changed in the early 80's as it went to a different design so in your case they do not harm performance
