Car shakes when accelerating in the morning time only mostly.
I drive my car daily for work, bought it two months back and have thoroughly checked out and all brakes and rotors replaced. Recently when I start leaving my house in the morning it would shake when I accelerate at slower speeds so I will let off the gas and it was about it would probably do it for about an hour in the morning and then go away it wouldn’t do it for the rest of the day this is a reoccurring issue. Any thoughts?

Hi,

This could be the result of several things. When you feel this happen, does the engine and transmission continue to work correctly? Have you had the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes?

Also, is there anything you can do to change how it feels? For example, does it change if you are making a turn or using the brakes?

Let me know.

Joe

When I let off the gas it stops it feels like the front end like the tires shake, I believe it’s hard to pinpoint. I could be wrong but I don’t feel as the engine or transmission.

Hi,

Okay, I was worrying about the transmission slipping and causing this to happen.

The other things to consider would be a failing CV joint, a damaged engine or transmission mount, or even a shifted belt in a tire.

Under the front of the vehicle, there is an axle on each side. On each end of the axle, there is a rubber CV boot. See if there is any evidence of grease leaking from them. I attached a general pic below showing the axle. I circled the boots I mentioned.

Let me know.

Joe
