Trying to figure out what is wrong with hubby's car. His 2002 Daewoo Nubria keeps dying when he takes his foot off the gas pedal. Gets worse the more warmer the engine gets. Changed the egr and replaced the fuel filter. Trying to get an opinion on what could be wrong before I get a mechanic to look at it and charge me an arm and a leg!

Honestly it could be a number of things throttle position sensor wiring fuel supply issues etc. The first thing I would do is have it scanned for codes and let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions you have in the computer? Even if I was there with the car that's the first thing I would do.

No check engine lights on. Brother-in-law scanned it last week and no codes came up.

Your going to have to check fuel pressure throttle position sensor readings make sure the coolant temp sensor is reading correctly. Does it have a real lack of power?
