Car Engine Suddenly lose its power and stop working while driving

I have Lumina 2001 ltz works fine for almost half an hour then the engine power suddenly decreased and the RPM indicator start going up and down and then the engine suddenly turn off, when I keep it to cool down the engine will work fine again for another half an hour and so on.

There will be two main area where you need to check. It souunds like you are losing spark or fuel. Go to the link on the left side of the screen and click First Things to Check. This will show you how to check for spark and fuel pressure. All these test will have to be done when the car is not start.
