Hi there,

I have a Mazda MPV 2001. It works fine, but on hot days the car won't start until it cools down again.
The lights come on, and it clicks, but doesn't start. I can't figure out what part of the car gets affected by the heat, and would be thankful for any ideas.

check battery for condition first including load test. tire stores auto parts do this for free. then have starter checked or have an assistant smack the body of the starter with hammer and if it starts starter is bad.
