Where is the CAM sensor located?

I need the location of cam sensor for replacement.

Hi,

To access it, you will need to remove the air filter cover and the air intake tube between the air filter box and the throttle body. It will be located on the cylinder head (passenger side) near the alternator.

I attached the extremely vague directions from my manual for this process.

Thank you for your reply. Have removed those things and still can't get to it. It's on the other side and blocked in there.

Unfortunately, I'm not by the vehicle at the moment but yes, rear of engine.

Hi,

I think I understand. When you say rear of the engine, do you mean between the engine and firewall? Is the alternator in your way? If that is the case, you need to disconnect the battery and remove the alternator. You should be able to access it that way.
