Smells problem
1997 Cadillac STS V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Had tune up 1 1/2 monts prior. Ihad been getting gas smell. Today gas is leak from the front of the car, had a guy look at it and he said it was the fuel reulator, took him a few minuets to fix and I was off. It lasted for about a 2 days and same problem.

It sounds like the fuel rail may be leaking. Have yet to see an external leak from a regulator, usually internal leaks. If someone was in there, and it is leaking externally at the regulator, either the rail has an issue, or the repair was done improperly. May have left an extra o-ring in there, or didn't get the retainer on correctly
