My radio dies, gas gauge go down smells like somthing could be burning have to shut car off , start again to reset radio , gas gauge

I would get a tech to look at the vehicle ASAP if you can smell burning ..the cadilac are very specilaised in there electrcal and computer circuitry and it it best left to the pro's to diagnose where your fault lies
Diagnostic Starting Point - Instrument Panel, Gages and Console
Begin the instrument panel (I/P) or driver information center (DIC) system diagnosis with Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information. The Diagnostic System Check will provide the following information:
The identification of the control modules which command the system.
The ability of the control modules to communicate through the serial data circuit.
The identification of any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and their status.
The use of the Diagnostic System Check will identify the correct procedure for diagnosing the system and where the procedure is located.
