i was driving on the highway and my car hit 70mph and when i was changing lanes back into the right one my car decided to stall out and not let me steer at all..i pulled over and sat there and pushed my emerengency brake but my car was still on so it iddnt die out right away but my steering wouldnt let me turn the wheels. Then i shut the car off and tried to turn it back on it did and then i went to turn back onto the highway and it decided to not turn the steering wheel just shook side to side so i shut it off again and then tried to to turn it on and it wouldnt start also when i started it the first time my battery no charge light was on and when it was stalling out it turned on. But i dont understand how it said battery no charge if my car was fully on but wouldnt turn onto the road..then it wouldnt turn on after that and now is dead.i don't know what to do. ive also have put in alot of work into this car and i think its time for it to go..

3 replacement engines, becuase fan was dead and mechanic didnt know that so it seized the engine

1 new radiartor

droped the fuel tank and replaced it

new steering column, most recent repair> reason why was becuase my key was stuck in the ingition and wouldnt come out or hence let me shut the car off..we had to pull plugs to shut car off it wouldnt trunt he ingition back.

and replaced the brakes which is common..

in all like $3500 in repairs.

If you had a charge light, and no steering, it sounds like it threw the drive belt. Reasons for this may be worn belt, pulley came off or loose, coolant leak or oil on belt. Look at where the drive belt should be, and you may find your problem.
