92 Fleetwood 4.9L. Just replaced engine with used 4.9L engine, original one seized up from head gasket leak and overheating. Install went well, used new Distributor, coil, cap, plugs, etc. Engine turns over fine, sounds like it wants run, but there is no spark. I set TDC on #1 cylinder set rotor to #1 plug, jumped A&B on adl conector etc etc just as the shop manual says to. Only trouble code is e55 tps out of range. Yes there is fuel pressure. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the earlier help, the last bolt was right were you said it would be.

I believe that would have an HEI style distributor. Start by checking for power at the pink wire at the dist. Did new dist have all parts in it?

Is the dist getting power at the pink wire with key on?

No, no juice with key on. I took ignition control mod and had it tested and it is ok.

Check ignition fuse under dash. That wire comes straight from the ign switch through the fuse

Fuse is good, no juice at fuse box with key on 1 yellow wire runs from ignition switch to fuse box, 2 small purple leave box, no juice on either. Where does ignition switch gets power?

I found 2 splits in battery connector on Distributor. Have spark, will travel. THANKS FOR THE HELP!
