Just took my car to the dearler and they say I need a Front Differencial Bearings Replacement for $900 is that a fair estimate? I didn't notice any issue before I took it in either - second opinion maybe?

I have a 2002 escalade(AWD), and right at about 100,000 my front diff. went out completey. The dealer couldn't locate a new one, and I had a few repair shops try to locate a new one for me also. The dealer ended up rebuilding the one I had. And nformed me It would cost more for a rebuild(parts and labor). Long/short; I paid close to $2200, so if you are getting a new Diff. I would have to say you are getting a good deal.
