Diagnostic could not be read due to something wrong with the cylinders, does not make sense. Does the diagnostic tool not power up? If that is the case, check the 15A cigar fuse in the underhood fuse block. If it is blown, check that there are no metallic items in the lighter receptacle before replacing it.
