The abs seem not to be working properly. The brakes will lock up at low speeds (35mph) especially if it is wet. Front rotors have been replaced and rear shoes we replaced about 3000 miles ago. I am told it could be the wheel sensors sending a premature message. This is dangerous.

If your abs light is not on then i'd have to say it's not the abs. You may have a switch that is attached to the rear axle that may be stuck causing your problem or you may have forzen calipers in the front. BEst thing to do is have a scan run on the truck to see if there are any ABS codes and that would tell ou if there is actually a problem or not. You can't guesswork this without scanning for problems.
