Vehicle will not get out of park
2000 Cadillac Escalade Automatic
After the vehicle has been placed in the park position, the vehicle cannot be shifted out of park without several attempts to force the shifter in a downward movement.
Where is the automatic shift lockcontrol solenoid and what does it look like and is it simple to replace?

Hi grosas, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation
Sounds like there's a problem within the shift interlock control system-check and test the stop lamp switch and the shift lock control solenoid
